Introducing the world’s first mobile microdosing study

A correlational study on the effects of microdosing psychedelic substances on cognitive performance and mental health.

Launched Nov 15, 2019 on the Joe Rogan Experience, this 12,000+ participant (and counting) study is being conducted by Quantified Citizen (a mobile health research company) in collaboration with Dr. Zachary Walsh, Associate Professor in the UBC Department of Psychology, Dr. Pamela Kryskow and the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) Canada. This study was reviewed by the University of British Columbia, Okanagan’s Ethics Review Board.

General Guide to Dry Mushroom Dosage

Microdose: 0.1 – 0.5 grams, Beginner
No Visuals, No body buzz, just an uptick in creativity and mood.

Low Dose: 0.5 – 2 grams beginner/novice/first-time
At this dose you’ll start to see visuals and enhanced mood accompanied by joy and laughter.

Moderate Dose: 2 – 3.5 grams, intermediate user
Sit back, relax, and enjoy, as you’ll soon look to the stars and ask thought provoking questions. Let the experience roll through and you might learn something new about yourself!

High Dose: 3.5 – 5 grams and above, experienced psychonaught
Please be cautious with this dosage as it brings about existential questions and feelings, may cause ego dissolution, may bring new insights of oneself. 
Highly recommended to have an experienced guide.

General Guide to Micro Dosing 

The average dose is 0.150 grams or 150mg 

We follow James Fadiman’s system (America’s foremost psychadelic researcher) where studies recommend taking a Microdose once every three days, so take a Microdose on Day 1. Then, do not take a Microdose on Day 2 or Day 3. And finally On Day 4, take another Microdose.  Continue for a full cycle up to 10 weeks.
